My daughter Natalie (7) had big feelings before bed, but I was exhausted and didn’t want to take the time to deal with it. That’s how real life goes sometimes. But in that moment of burnout, God gave me an idea, “Let’s pray 3-2-1 sweet girl.”
It didn’t drag out bedtime, instead when we started this simple method of prayer it brought much needed calm so she could sleep.
**SO in January’s FROM ME TO YOU EMAIL you’ll find your free prayer guide outlining the solution God’s used to help me support my kiddos in faith at bedtime. It’s easy for kids to learn and Natalie now reminds me, “Mom, we need to do 3-2-1!” I’m so happy to share it with you and hope it brings you and your kids closer together.
Perhaps commit to praying 3-2-1-0 with your kids (or even your spouse!) for a week to get into the groove. For me, it’s given me precious insight into what my kids are THINKING and WORRYING about, and helped motivate my prayer life as well so I know how to pray for them.
